Construction materials, typically defined by their static nature and utility, possess potential for aesthetic expression. I re-interpret these conventionally stable, rigid, and strong materials by giving them a new identity through the application of gradients. The blending of gradients on these surfaces imparts a sense of fluidity, vibrancy, and movement. Although inherently unchanging, the gradients transform and evolve these materials with a life of their own.
